Our Story
We met in late 2001 via a Christian friendship web site and began corresponding
with each other frequently. Phone conversations followed and we decided to make
a commitment to each other, despite the great distance from Jakarta, Indonesia
to Marietta, Georgia, USA.
In October of 2003, we both traveled to Singapore and met for 2 weeks. The trip turned out to be a confirmation for both of us that we couldn't live apart. After much prayer and discussion and many tests of our faith, we obtained a fiancée visa for Suzana to travel to the U.S. We married on July 7, 2004!
We are very thankful to our parents and friends who supported us through the times when it seemed impossible that we would ever be together. Most of all, we thank God for guiding and comforting us during the entire journey.
